Well done, Xanthe – an excellent event and brilliantly stage managed by you. We sold all the cup cakes the next day for charity.
 It’s not the sort of thing I’m generally very good at so I was amazed 
by my own dexterity AND more importantly all my cup cakes sold out!

had loads of fun and can’t wait to bake just so I can decorate more
cupcakes!

I had a lovely time and it was lovely to meet you and the rest of the
girls in the class. I’ve attached photos of my box of cupcakes – they’re not the best
pictures ever and I now wish I had taken proper ones before any had been
eaten!  I will be sure to send you pictures of the ones I make in future

I just wanted to pass on a huge thank you – my friend, Rachel, had a brilliant hen do and we all had a lot of fun at the class! Anna is a great instructor and so easy to get on with.
 We spent the rest of the weekend showing off our cupcakes (what was left of them) and passed your website details to a few friends who were suitably impressed with our creations. I have even been online to order icing and decorating supplies and the hen has admitted to being rather entranced by your beautiful cook book!

I LOVED it!!  I thought Lea was fab and we had a good gossip.  I went straight on line and bought a load of cake decor stuff but must go to the shop in Westbourne park rd to get the nozzles…then I am set to make my nieces there promised cup cakes for Easter.  I posted a photo on Facebook of my efforts and had a few good comments too.

Dear Xanthe, What a fantastic time we all had on Saturday. It really was  superb. No one guessed what we were doing but they thought that as it was at The Drawing Room it involved life drawing or something similar! I did offer to pose naked but amazingly the offer was rejected!! Lea was lovely and so patient. I am afraid we did make a lot of noise and were rather undisciplined. It worked so well and the baby just went to sleep. The cupcakes were delicious and we are all amazed how well they lasted. I think some of us are tempted to give up our jobs and take up cake decorating. Naturally there was great competition among the guys as to whose cupcake was the best. It was very relaxed and all ages from 7 months to 67years enjoyed it. There aren’t many things that span that age group and can be enjoyed by all ages. It was brilliantly organised and very different. All, the cakes looked so good even if you had never done any icing before.  I have had lots of envious remarks from friends so have passed on your details. You have certainly hit on a successful formula. Only sorry you don’t have the stall in Portobello any more. I would be there every Saturday. Thank you so much, also for my book. I am going to try some of the recipes as now I know they work. It was very kind of you. I saw the review in The Sunday Mail so have cut it out to add to the “memory” book my daughters did for me.
